It's Not Always Brooke

There's this notion that Ridge always chooses Brooke but that's patently false. I don't even have to go back to the 90s to disprove that. Back in 2015, Brooke threw herself at Ridge but he told her to go pound sand because he wanted to be with Caroline, whom he eventually married. At no point did he leave Caroline for Brooke. Their marriage was unfortunately over before Ridge fell back into his old pattern. Point is, he can and has chosen women over Brooke.

You say there's this notion. Where does it come from? Because it's very obvious that Ridge plays an idiot, runs around with other women and then winds back up with Brooke. He did it with Katie, with Shauna, with Taylor, with Caroline sr. This is nothing new.

ETA, I want to say Ashely Abbott, too, but I can't remember. And he was cheating on Brooke with Quinn, so, nothing new indeed.
