That was one BB's biggest failures. Not only did he break them up despite their incredible natural chemistry, he created Douglas as a permanent blockade to a reunion, and then killed Caroline off.

I always thought Ridge falling in love with Caroline Jr. was icky.

Extremely icky. Apart from the fact that he seduced his brother Rick's wife, he looked like a dirty old man with his daughter.
