It's Not Always Brooke

There's this notion that Ridge always chooses Brooke but that's patently false. I don't even have to go back to the 90s to disprove that. Back in 2015, Brooke threw herself at Ridge but he told her to go pound sand because he wanted to be with Caroline, whom he eventually married. At no point did he leave Caroline for Brooke. Their marriage was unfortunately over before Ridge fell back into his old pattern. Point is, he can and has chosen women over Brooke.

Caroline 1 and Caroline 2 were merely distractions. He was with these 2 for 1 year. Same for Katie, Ashley, Morgan and other women. With Brooke he shares 35 years of history, 8 marriages and 1 child, it isn't comparable.

In the beginning he only married Taylor because Brooke was with Eric and didn't want him. He may have picked Taylor over Brooke a few times in the 90s but that didn't last. Even with 3 children with Taylor, he still saw her true colors and realized he prefered Brooke.

Not that I think Ridge is a prize. If I were Brooke I'd dump him and never look back. But it'sa fact Brooke is the love of his life. Dialogs prove that!
