It's Not Always Brooke

There's this notion that Ridge always chooses Brooke but that's patently false. I don't even have to go back to the 90s to disprove that. Back in 2015, Brooke threw herself at Ridge but he told her to go pound sand because he wanted to be with Caroline, whom he eventually married. At no point did he leave Caroline for Brooke. Their marriage was unfortunately over before Ridge fell back into his old pattern. Point is, he can and has chosen women over Brooke.

Ridge always goes back to Brooke and she is the only woman that gave him a literal heart attack when she didn't want to reunite with him and chose Nick.

Yes I remember that heart attack i always knew if RM was given something other than whispering sweet nothings into the ear of whoever the woman of the hour was, he would bring it. I watched that scene where he was looking in the mirror reflecting on his life then the heart attack numerous times because it was so powerful.
Brooke was also the only woman who could bring Ridge back to life and out of his coma. Poor Taylor couldn't do it.
Even Stephanie knew that. She flew to where Brooke and Nick were staying to convince Brooke to come back and save Ridge.
