Why did Thomas tell Douglas about the proposal?

Thomas knew it would come out sooner than later; he just did not count on that Douglas would see Hope first and they talk before he had a chance for all of them to talk it out and they both agree that Thomas would leave and take Douglas to Paris, which of course Hope does not have to agree to.

Hope may not have to agree to it, but she will. Douglas make it crystal clear that he wants to go with his dad, and the reasons why. And what would happen if she didn't agree.

Right. How is she gonna look to respect his wish to live with Steffy last year, but then she refuses this???

Ok, I am going to say it...I am glad the kid went with Tom. Hope never should have adopted him in the first place. And the worst part of it is, she adopted the kid under false pretenses. She still has no idea that Tom forged that letter from Caroline. In fact there are a lot of things about Tom she still does not know, because he continued to lie about stuff to her. I hope she finds out everything. Time for Hope to start thinking again about her daughter Beth, who has been short changed for the last year, when it comes to attention from her parents. I am glad Doug is gone. I am glad Tom is gone. I hope MA takes a nice long break and has a great time traveling with his wife. He has worked non-stop for over a year, he deserves the break.

Yeah, I really believe Douglas' exit was SL dictated. I don't think we are supposed to be over analyzing it. We'll see, but that's my thoughts. And yeah, Douglas needs to be back with his father and grandmas, and HFTF needs to go away. I don't want to see them continuing that line anymore.

Just like Brooke's Bedroom, everything has a season. HFTF needs to go away.
