That set him up for disappointment.

Tom explained why he was leaving to move on…..he told the truth..kid deserved to know why

I guess, but does Thomas think it's good to make Douglas feel like he isn't good enough for Hope? There has to be a better way. Douglas was talking like he was 30 years old.

I don’t think said they weren’t good enough the little kid is just thinking that…..I think the kid thinks it….but he’s young he can move on with Tom …and still visit Hope and his grandpa
