Why did Thomas tell Douglas about the proposal?

That set him up for disappointment.

Maybe the show did it this way to end Thope and their family.:whistle It felt like a closure today imo.

It did feel final but that's happened before and then things turn around. I hope it's the end but I won't get my hopes up yet. There's still a chance that they had Thomas walk away just to show he's changed.

We should know soon, I think. ;-)

But what difference does it make since Hope already believed he's "changed" all these past many months.
After all that was said this week, if things suddenly turn around then it's all still very forced. And Thope will just be mocked even more of a joke. IMO.

The difference is that Thomas can be used as a leading man if he's redeemed. I don't know if they care if they're mocked.

After the way they used him as a villain, it's way too late to try to change course....he'll NEVER make a believable leading man. I really don't believe it'll work at all. Unless the show wants to keep tanking even more. JMO.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
