That set him up for disappointment.

Tom explained why he was leaving to move on…..he told the truth..kid deserved to know why

I guess, but does Thomas think it's good to make Douglas feel like he isn't good enough for Hope? There has to be a better way. Douglas was talking like he was 30 years old.

Thomas sure told Douglas in the worse. He should have been more adult in the way he told Douglas and not like a spoiled brat that didn’t get his way
Thomas and Hope could have told Douglas together
The Caroline Spencer thing was uncalled for
