Is Hope Really Gaslighting Liam?

I will agree that she should not be doing the "it's you not me" with Liam, that is absolutely not fair to him.
Has she lied about her feeling to him, yes but I don't think she is intentionally gaslighting him - in her mind nothing is going on with her and Thomas and nothing ever will happen so there is nothing to tell. My speculation - in her mind her feelings will go away and she will go back to her normal life. Again just my speculation.

Sure but the "it's you, not me' is gaslighting. And when Liam asks her and she denies it, that's lying. When Liam says Steffy saw things and hope deflected to "oh stephy just wants to interfere my marriage," that's also gaslighting.

Hope might think she can handle it, but every person on the show who has talked to her about it, has shown her that the emperor has no clothes. But she wants to keep acting like they're all wrong. That's gaslighting, whether she means to do it to them or not. For example if I step on your toe with my heel, and smash it, and it hurts you, I may not have meant to do that, but you are still hurt. Goes the same with the gas lighting.
