I would rather say Hope is gaslighting herself, not Liam. She still knows she loves him and I think she was serious asking him to come to Rome too. She wants to believe that she will never act on her fantasies but she likes them, she cannot stop them. And she obviously likes Tom too...it's probably just a matter of time until he will find out about her real feelings.
Will be interesting how Tom will react to them.
