Is Hope Really Gaslighting Liam?

I believe she is. She keeps telling Liam, he is the most important thing to her and she loves only him and yet she spends all her time daydreaming about Thomas.

She is. Liam asked her point blank and she denied it and makes him feel he is the problem. Liam is going crazy trying to put his finger on what is wrong, instead of telling him, she makes it seem like he is the problem. She even tries to make him feel like he doesn't support her career, something he has done the entire time they have been together. He supports her career. But she makes him feel like he doesn't just because he doesn't want her working with thomas.

That's gas lighting 101.

And she's not in denial of her feelings. She admitted them to brooke. She continues to fantasize and be around thomas. She's not doing anything about it. But when Liam asks her to do something about it, it's his fault because he can't accept her working with thomas, who's changed. That is gaslighting. She is hinging everything on this whole Thomas has changed thing, instead of admitting that because he's changed, she is feelings for him. That is gaslighting.

Because if she told Liam the truth, which is she's been having these unresolved feelings for thomas, then she'll have to admit that she should not be working with thomas. And she doesn't want to do that. So she makes it seem like it's Liam's fault. That is gaslighting.
