Is Hope Really Gaslighting Liam?

Hope's been accused of gaslighting Liam about her feelings for Thomas but is that really the case? To gaslight someone you have to make them believe something is true that's not. The thing is the person doing the gaslighting has to know that what they're making someone believe, is false. Hope's been in denial about her feelings for Thomas for awhile. She admitted her feelings to Brooke than backpedaled and claimed she has everything under control. She's not really admitted and accepted her feelings so she can't really be gaslighting Liam about them.

She isn't gaslighting anyone and she isn't in denial about the feelings. She's just trying to control them until they go away because she doesn't want to be having them. I don't know a single person who would tell their husband they've been fantasizing about someone else.

It is most definitely gaslighting. When someone is asking I f there's a problem with your feelings and you reply that the problem is really their feelings, that's gaslighting them.

Liam he's trying to figure out if his wife has feelings for another man. Instead of telling him the truth about it, she tells him that it is his feelings about the other man are the problem. That's gaslighting. And whether other people commonly will lie about their feelings to their spouses or will hide their feelings from their spouses, that doesn't mean they're not gaslighting to avoid telling the truth about it. It doesn't mean that they should be allowed to lie when directly asked if they have feelings for someone else. That's the vow you make when you get married I think. To be honest with your spouse. Not make your spouse feel like they are the ones who are the problem so you can avoid admitting that you're the problem.

Gaslighting is also making your mother feel like she's wrong and some kind of s*** for her past just so you don't have to feel like you're going to be anything like your mother.

Gaslighting is also telling your husband to listen to Stephanie and then turning around and saying Steph just wants to ruin your marriage because steffy is seeing something that you didn't want her to see.
