Is Hope Really Gaslighting Liam?

Hope's been accused of gaslighting Liam about her feelings for Thomas but is that really the case? To gaslight someone you have to make them believe something is true that's not. The thing is the person doing the gaslighting has to know that what they're making someone believe, is false. Hope's been in denial about her feelings for Thomas for awhile. She admitted her feelings to Brooke than backpedaled and claimed she has everything under control. She's not really admitted and accepted her feelings so she can't really be gaslighting Liam about them.

She knows about her feelings or she wouldn't keep having so many fantasies. She has done nothing about these feelings, that's the issue. Totally passive and inactive. Her first vision of Thomas was 3 months ago. She hasn't talked to a friend or a psy. She hasn't made any soul-searching like AN said Hope would. She is still working with Thomas even if she promised he would be gone if she felt like her marriage was in danger. She is flat out making up excuses to increase her time with him. She works up to 14 hours with him every day yet they hardly ever talk about designs, they spend the entire time fantasizing and praising each other. She is still modelling dresses for him even if she knows models are available.

I don't know if gaslighting is the right description but she knows about her feelings, she knows they are growing and she is smiling about it. Any girl who sincerely loves her husband and takes her wedding vows seriously would lower her time with the object of her fantasy, come clean about her feelings and get some therapy with her husband. I have zero sympathy for her if Liam dumps her.
