I don’t understand how Ridge is happier or more relaxed when he looks haggardly. He walks into work, they nag him. He is tricked to have another family night - it’s fun but they start attacking him again.
He’s happy his daughter and son in law are not dead!!! The reason he and Brooke argue us the same reason they argued and he started kissing Shauna. Thomas. Thomas is a schemer and a manipulator and Taylor “wins” with schemes.
That is not destiny.
When he went back home when Brooke hurt her ankle and we thought the story was moving along to Deacon, Ridge looked very happy and relaxed.
No one wants to hurt a person who they had a family with unless they had a horrible relationship, so yes Ridge struggles with hurting Taylor because he knows she is fixated on him.
The only difference between Thomas’ fixation on Hope and Taylor’s on Ridge is Taylor lets other people do the dirty work.
Taylor is a beautiful woman who has grieved for lost relationship for - at least 10 years.
She may win this time. And it may be for good.
She is not interesting now. She allowed her children to browbeat their dad and regardless of the phone call - cause a rift and add anxiety to the man she claims to love.
She’s not smart. Not caring. She is a calculating schemer lije her daughter. She should own it.
