It's a rewrite when Ridge says he knew Brooke was the one since the first time she laid eyes on him. It's a big fat lie. Ridge didn't even like Brooke at the beginning, she meant no more than Alex Simpson or Margo Linlay. She and Thorne were the obstacles, the rebounds, the interlopers, call it how you want. The minute Caroline was free again he coudln't dump Brooke fast enough. Taylor and Brooke never existed until Caroline died.

100% Facts. It was the other way around. BROOKE knew Ridge was HER true love since the first time she laid eyes on him. Ridge had no interest in Brooke at first. He didn’t take her seriously. He thought she was some infatuated school girl type.

Sorry, but that is opinion not fact. Was Ridge taking Caroline seriously when he proposed just to anger her dad then had sex with a model the night before his and Caroline's wedding? Yeah, I would say no.
