It's a rewrite when Ridge says he knew Brooke was the one since the first time she laid eyes on him. It's a big fat lie. Ridge didn't even like Brooke at the beginning, she meant no more than Alex Simpson or Margo Linlay. She and Thorne were the obstacles, the rebounds, the interlopers, call it how you want. The minute Caroline was free again he coudln't dump Brooke fast enough. Taylor and Brooke never existed until Caroline died.

100% Facts. It was the other way around. BROOKE knew Ridge was HER true love since the first time she laid eyes on him. Ridge had no interest in Brooke at first. He didn’t take her seriously. He thought she was some infatuated school girl type.

That's not facts. That's opinion. Ridge wasn't anymore interested in Caroline except for sex and to make her dad mad. He was hooking up with Margo, too.

I believe it was always Bridge due to Eric's connection to the logans and karma to Stephanie for "stealing" him from beth.
