Why I think Liam doesn't care about Steffy's past cheating

There is no way in hell any man would consider his wife kissing some guy that he hates as being more disgusting than his wife sleeping with his own dad. Liam is now acting like he is trying to rescue his fragile ego from being completely destroyed. He isn't able to accept that Hope has a divided heart because that's something only he can have. If now he would make Steffy leave her amazing, loving and handsome husband for him his ego would be rescued. Also Steffy wanted him back desperately after her ONS with Bill while Hope isn't exactly acting like she's desperate. Liam always thought that he deserved a woman to be his doormat. Poor Liam... It looks like it won't be happening for him anytime soon or ever.

It’s also its been years. Kelly is like 6 or 7. That's a long time. It's easy to look back with rise colored glasses. What Hope did is fresh.

Also Liam was having an emotional affair with Sally back then and they kissed. That doesn’t justify Steffy’s actions but neither was innocent in the situation.
Hope cheated cause she felt like it. They weren’t having any obvious marital issues.

Actually, Steffy was having emotional affair with Liam’s father too at the time. She was shown constantly going over to Bill’s house with all their inappropriate touchy-feely stuff..it’s no wonder she so easily ended up having wild night sex with Bill. And let’s not forget Liam fessed up about the Lally kiss as soon as he got home..Steffy on the other hand not only didn’t come clean, she went home and renewed marriage vows with Liam all on the same night! Funny how Liam can’t remember cheater Steffy’s nastiness now.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
