Why I think Liam doesn't care about Steffy's past cheating

There is no way in hell any man would consider his wife kissing some guy that he hates as being more disgusting than his wife sleeping with his own dad. Liam is now acting like he is trying to rescue his fragile ego from being completely destroyed. He isn't able to accept that Hope has a divided heart because that's something only he can have. If now he would make Steffy leave her amazing, loving and handsome husband for him his ego would be rescued. Also Steffy wanted him back desperately after her ONS with Bill while Hope isn't exactly acting like she's desperate. Liam always thought that he deserved a woman to be his doormat. Poor Liam... It looks like it won't be happening for him anytime soon or ever.

Hope slept with his brother Wyatt and he got past it.. It's not what she did but who she did it with he can't forgive. He constantly told her what he suspected and she just gas lighted him and betrayed him with a monster than tried to destroy their family. That's what he can't forgive. It has nothing to do with ego, frustration and disappointment are the reason.

it's also more than just the person and the gaslighting, hope has a heavy emotional investment with thomas
steffy didn't and has regretted her night with bill to this day, and despite what hope said to liam repeatedly that
steffy would end up with bill, she was wrong
however steffy was right about hope and her feelings/involvement with thomas

Liam has said he said Hope "choose" Thomas. Yeah, that's not the same as Steffy and Bill. He at least got to witness that Steffy was not about Bill after the ONS.
