Why I think Liam doesn't care about Steffy's past cheating

I think though Hope probably never should have been put on a pedestal by Liam because she is just human too on the other hand she is not malicious and evil as you describe her.
We watched her having feelings she didn´t understand, we watched her trying to fight them.
She didn´t think about punishing Liam for his waffling consciously, I think it was rather unconsciously that this happened.
She would have liked to let the kiss stay in Rome if it had been possible, she didn´t want Liam to see it, but as Liam was watching it the drama unfolded.
This was not some devilish plan by Hope but just probably being not really happy in her marriage for some time.
She better should have talked to Liam about it before Rome happened, but she thought she had it all under control.:roll

Great post. I agree with every word. Hope didn't set out to hurt Liam. She was horrified by the idea that she was becoming attracted to Thomas. It messed with her head. She didn't even understand it. It was only after Liam refused to forgive her that she realized that she became attracted to him because he was the anti-Liam...a one-woman-man. She explained that in the scene where she gave him the divorce papers.

If you set aside the fact that it was Thomas, the person who hurt their family, that she cheated on Liam with, what did Hope do? A kiss and some hand holding. That pales in comparison to the things Liam has done to hurt Hope. He even said he would have forgiven her if it was anyone else.

Hope is a good person. She lost her way and acted out of character. It was great to hear Liam finally admit that he contributed to that with his divided heart and his many, many times he hurt Hope with her bully.

It was a good thing to hear....and now Hope needs to do the right thing for her child and even for Tom, who has a history of mental illness and obsession....she needs to stay away from him completely. Anything less will show her to be selfish and self absorbed. Thomas harmed her child, and he cannot change that fact. Tom marginalized Beth Spencer's importance when he allowed the crime of her abduction and being sold to the highest bidder to keep going on. He put his own wants and needs over a helpless child. That is abuse of a child. He abused his own son, called him names to his face, told him to lie or else, twisted his arm, raised his fist to hit him and the kid was showing flinching from him, which IRL would denote, it was not the first time it happened. That is physical and mental abuse. If Tom had sexually abused these kids we would not be rooting for him to end up with their mother....so why is it any different when he abused them in other ways? And what kind of mother would even want to be touched by a man that abused her children.....it is just sickening. JMO....but I think this show is really sickening for pairing Tom with Hope in any way.
