why does brooke need to explain to hope?

Yes, Hope did make some good points today, but that is water under the bridge. She has forgiven her mother many many times since those mistakes and not once since then held it against her.

So if she wants to sit down nicely and explain to her mother she is having some issues and she knows it is not fair but she is recalling times when what her mother did hurt her growing up, ok, I can accept that.
But just to blurt all of that out today in her own mother's house with no really good cause except Ridge had been there and saw her in her teddy, little uncalled for.

Just earlier that day Hope said she hated when Brooke got down on herself and then Hope sat up there and did it to deflect blame off herself just like the rest of the loose women on this show. Smh.
