why does brooke need to explain to hope?

She doesn't. Hope was way out of line, Hope is also having a breakdown and I was glad that even though Brooke looked completely pissed off with Hope's tirade, she saw through it and knew this was about Hope, not herself. That was probably the most real episode this show has shown in ages. I am sure all of us on here can remember getting mad at our mothers because we were hurt by someone, or mad at ourselves. I know I did it whenever some boy broke my heart....took it out on my mom for about 15 minutes, while she stood there and took it, then I would start crying and feeling ashamed, and then mom moved into mom mode and made it OK.

I like the whole thing between Brooke and Ridge today....all of it.

I think this is all about Hope breaking down. I am not sure what is going on with Tom, because he is thinking about Hope constantly, but does seem to be trying to be respectful. Maybe this is going to be about Tom being redeemed by helping Lope to stay together by not using this mental issue she is having, to get in her pants.

Nah, that is more of the Hamilton women's issues. Hope had a few pills years ago, for a few days. And Brooke never killed anyone while drunk. And never picked up some strange at the docks while drunk. That is Steffy and Taylor. Steffy was an addict that had to go to rehab. Taylor has fallen off the wagon more than a few times. I think if anything Hope will be having a breakdown, probably go to Taylor for therapy, and there she will in indoctrinated into the "Brooke is Bad" club and Taylor will make sure to pound it in her head that she and Tom need to be together for their "son". LOL. That way Taylor will have Liam lying around as a spare, in case Finn does not work out for Steffy.
