This is another rewrite and senseless plot. Most of Brooke's dirtiest scandals happened before Hope was born or when she was a baby or a toddler. The only mistakes Brooke made since Hope is adult are Oliver and Bill, and Hope wasn't even in town through most of Bill and Brooke's history. How is Brooke responsible for Hope's feelings for Thomas. She is off topic

if anything, brooke's been the one warning hope about thomas
while hope defends him constantly

Yet, Brooke was perfectly fine with the idea of monster Thomas working with Hope again..Brooke never objected..she happily went along with her snake BFF.
And why did she just suddenly make that random "bad boys" comment? That came out of nowhere.
