why does brooke need to explain to hope?

Dreamgirl, 4/10/2023, 9:52PM(391 days ago) @DC- one person liked this

or anyone else why she was downstairs - in her own house - in a nightgown?
hope was totally overreacting and at this point, it looks like she is taking out her realization that she has feelings for thomas on her own mother

I think she pegged Brooke perfectly Brooke in her nightie …Brooke was giggly wiggly again yuck

AGREEING, Hope pegged Brooke correctly today, and she was upset already with herself, and was coming to her mother for a sounding board and finds her mother behaving in a manner that she felt was inappropriate and thereby making her feel even worse.

Lord knows I don’t like Brooke but Brooke was NOT inappropriate. She’s single and grown. If she wants to flirt with Ridge she can. This pact with Taylor is silly. Brooke still wants Ridge and he’s still hot for her. She needs to tell Taylor the truth and let the chips fall. I just don’t see the point of this pact if she’s still in love with Ridge & he still wants her. It’s not going to last.

Agreeing, but what I'm saying, in Hope's opinion her mother was being inappropriate according to the agreement with Taylor; and the way Ridge had treated her with Taylor. For Brooke to be flirting and coming on to a man that just walked away from her with no explanation, it made no sense to see that so soon is what I think Hope was thinking, but this is Brooke, no boundaries for Ridge married or single. It certainly not going to last, because if Ridge had stayed, as opposed to leaving, Brooke would have had Ridge upstair in a nano second.

Seems to me Hope was being sanctimonious and judgemental (I haven't watched so I could be wrong). If she isn't careful she's going to turn into hypocrite Taylor. What Brooke does about her pact is none of Hopes business. And what Brooke wears in her own house or who she chooses to flirt with isn't any of Hopes business either.

I used to find Hope really annoying when she was played by KM (no offense to the actress, I love her). I grew to like her once AN started playing her because she brought a certain maturity and self reflection to the role. But going by what I'm reading, Hope is becoming her old holier than thou, condescending self once again. So much for Hope becoming more mature than she was!
