hope was totally overreacting and at this point, it looks like she is taking out her realization that she has feelings for thomas on her own mother

Seems more like Hope is having a mental break down.

There is nothing for Hope to be having a mental break down about. Her life has never been better. Hope's problem is that she has the hots for Thomas!

I agree. I believe she's just having a hard time accepting that she is attracted to another man. It has nothing to do with a mental breakdown IMO.
