why does brooke need to explain to hope?

hope was totally overreacting and at this point, it looks like she is taking out her realization that she has feelings for thomas on her own mother

Brooke is single and was in her own home with a single man. She could have come down naked and said "come on upstairs and do me Ridge" and she still would not have done anything wrong. She owes no one any explanation at all about her business with Ridge. How dare Hope come into her mother's house and accuse her of anything at all. Hope does not live in the house with her mother. Brooke is a mature woman who can see, date, bed, whatever with whomever she pleases. Hope is the one that is married and needs to be chastising herself for HER behavior, and not her mother.

ICAM! Mind you I don’t want Brooke with Ridgebut you are absolutely right in on point! damn business. Now I remember when Brooke put her marriage on the line to support Hope and her relationship with Deacon and hope had the audacity to throw Deacon in Brooke’s face today? Unbelievable! Hello Dumb Hope, if not for Deacon YOU wouldn’t be there.

Again… the Brooke bashing is SO wrong. And Hope needs to shut her mouth because in the last 13 years Brooke has been with only her two husbands— Bill and Ridge! And Growing up she was she never saw her mom bounce to man to man.
