Actually I kind of see Steffy always hating Logans as a rewrite of the character when they wanted to do Still.

When Steffy was played by the actress before JMW, she loved Hope, Brooke and RJ. There are scenes of the Tridge children telling Brooke that.

Steffy had romantic relationships with Marcus and Rick, both Logans by blood.

Then when Kim was cast as Hope, they had Steffy resenting her and claiming Ridge left her for Hope, which really didn’t make sense since Steffy was with Ridge all her childhood (Steffy was an adult already when Taylor came back and eventually Tridge split).

As for Thomas, I could see him not being grateful for the positive things Finn has brought to their lives because in a way Finn is a roadblock to what Thomas wants.

Thomas wants Hope. It would be a lot easier for him to have her if Liam gave up on Hope and was in a marriage with Steffy.

I just wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see Thomas plot against Sinn.

Yeah, but Steffy was always going to eventually grow into hating the Logans. She is Stephanie's namesake after all. You brought up Still -- which proves my point. Steffy hating the Logans isn't related to Liam and it has been happening before Liam was ever a created character.

The show isn't showcasing that Steffy is at all hung up on Liam, and in fact, they have went above and beyond to illustrate how deeply in love Steffy is with Finn. Ignoring that is just going against the show's narrative about Sinn.

For Thomas, he isn't pushing Liam/Steffy together, and is incredibly supportive of Sinn and has always been. In fact, when he found out Vinny switched the test to put Thope back together, --- he made sure Finn knew that Hayes was his baby. So when the opportunity arose for Steam to get back together, Thomas didn't take it, and in fact was in complete support of Sinn.
