I disagree. I think even if it’s on a subconscious level, Thomas feels that if he could rip Hope away from Liam, he’d be benefiting his sister.

He lost his other sister over her not being able to have the man she wanted, maybe Thomas is afraid the same could happen to his remaining sister if she can’t really have what she wants, or what he believes she wants.

I want to believe in Steffy’s love for Finn but it’s hard to when she seems like she isn’t satisfied with him when she’s so bitter about the Logans.

And if Liam was really available to her?

I don’t know that Finn could compete.
