The show showed us clearly that it took using Kelly to get Steffy to show any interest in Liam.

Wether it was for the staged kiss or the drunken ons.And that, because all 3, Liam Hope and Thomas knew that she wasn't in love with him anymore, and played on her weakness:The united family she wanted for her kid.That's exactly what the portrait represented for her.And she didn't remove it when she fell in loev wioth Finn.No.She removed it when she started the new family she wanted.

As far as the drugged sex, well, after almost 2 years without any she merely scratched an itch.She even stated that it reminded her of how much she missed that part of her life.

Anf after tehse 3 events, she showed zero interest in reuniting with him.

After the drugged sex, she was completly indifferent and even stated that she knew where all this was going, where what everyone wanted.At that time, everyone, including Steffy wanted lope.Steffy did everything she could to keep Hope from dumping Liam.And When Hope saw that Steffy wasn't caving , she used the kids to get Steffy to take liam back in.

After the staged kiss she immediatly regretted it told Hope that it was her(Steffy's) fault and did absolutly nothing to get Liam back.

And don't even get me started on the way she defended Hope before and after the drunken ons and on the look and sound of disgust when she sobered up and saw Liam.

So only those who desperatly need Steffy to be still in love with Liam in order to validate lope would think that she is.The show made crystal clear that she's not.Does she still somehow care about Liam?Yes. He is Kelly's father , he gave her her miracle baby, her greatest gift at the time.But that's about it.
