As far as we've heard Douglas has been having a blast at Eric's house, drawing and playing chess in with everyone.

Yup, it is all fun and games and very little structure that we have seen. What kid wouldn't want to stuff themselves with ice cream all day and play video games all night, over sitting down at a table with family and eating their vegetables and reading a book before they go to sleep. Hell, I want to go live at Eric's house too. But, I am an adult, not a child who needs structure.

For wanting to get rid of the Logans, Thomas doesn't have a problem pushing Douglas off on Donna. And BTW Douglas seems to like Aunt Donna.
