YES, Shauna cannot POSSIBLY go toe to toe with Dr. Taylor Hayes. Like you said, the Tridge family will send her back to the desert faster than she can spell SAND.

I wonder whether Shauna is supposed to "console" Carter after Quinn's departure and become his next love interest, but I guess that's another topic.

I think Shauna could clean up the floor with Taylor and use her head to mop the toilet out. LOL. Shauna has a spark that comes across as real, unlike Taylor's weird brittle nervous smiles and head tilts and constantly telling Ridge how he feels.
