I do not understand why Brooke has not played the game

This bugs me on these shows. I admit I am older than most of you, but, I was always taught to slop sugar on someone that considered themselves my enemy. I do not understand why Brooke does not get in the game, and play it. I keep thinking, she should seek out Tom when Ridge is right there and hold out her hand and tell him they should make peace because they both love Ridge. I mean lay it on thick about how they can work together, blah, blah, blah. Keep him close, ask him if he wants to bring Douglas and live with her and Ridge. She needs to beat these Hamilton Monsters at their own game. Maybe out of that will come real forgiveness for Tom and the terrible things he did to her, and to Lope. Who knows? But her current approach is not getting her anywhere except out of a husband she wants to keep.
