What’s going to be the big letdown for Steffy and Thomas

All this Forrester huffing and puffing can’t go on. Something is going to happen. I suspect a few possibilities. Taylor’s halo will crack in an unsuspecting way. Steffy over focus on her parents reunion leaves Hayes vulnerable. Thomas and the family will learn that Hope is not just a nurse maid to Douglas and that he really really loves his family with Hope, Liam and Beth. They can’t be so dismissive of them. What’s your guess?


I dont see Taylor and Steffy as dismissive of Douglas' relationship with his mother. They just want Douglas to have the same opportunity to build the same type of relationship with his father.


They have been talking like Hope has been keeping Douglas away from Thomas and not letting him be part of the decisions. That's not true. Thomas is the only reason he hasn't seen much of Douglas.


Because Thomas did not feel that he was ready for that responsibility and now he does. Thomas himself said that Hope has been making all the decisions for Douglas without his input and Hope did not disagree.


I'm not talking about full responsibility. I'm talking about Thomas spending so little time with Douglas that Douglas asked him if he misses him or even thinks about him. Thomas couldn't handle seeing his douglas or making more time to spend with him? Why?

We can only speculate as nothing of the sort was shown on screen. As far as we knew, Thomas was spending time with Douglas off-screen. Maybe he was busy at work and failed at time management. He certainly wasn't dating anyone that was taking up his time. Whatever the case, he has recognized how it affected Douglas and is taking steps to rectify it.
