What’s going to be the big letdown for Steffy and Thomas

All this Forrester huffing and puffing can’t go on. Something is going to happen. I suspect a few possibilities. Taylor’s halo will crack in an unsuspecting way. Steffy over focus on her parents reunion leaves Hayes vulnerable. Thomas and the family will learn that Hope is not just a nurse maid to Douglas and that he really really loves his family with Hope, Liam and Beth. They can’t be so dismissive of them. What’s your guess?


Maybe we find out that someone isn't even a faux Forrester. Wouldn't it be hilarious if we found out that Ridge isn't Thomas's or Phoebe and Steffy's bio father?

I think you're right that they keep hammering us over the head with the "Forrester" stuff for a reason. Something's got to happen to blow it up.

If Bell changes someone's paternity, it can only be Hayes. He is still a newborn and this would be the easiest way to revisit the triangle from hell and send Finn in another direction. Maybe Douglas or Kelly's paternity, but that's a lot more unlikely for alot of reasons. He is never going to change an adult's paternity like he did Ridge's. Ridge not being Thomas or Steffy's father wouldn't change anything about the family dynamics. It didn't change anything for Ridge when he learnt Massimo was his father, it won't change anything for Thomas. If Ridge isn't Thomas' father, the only other possiblity would be Thorne, because Taylor was involved with both brothers at the time. In any case he would still have the same blood. It isn't like they are going to be kicked out of the Forrester family for a mistake Taylor made 25 years ago. Same if Hope turns out to be Ridge's daughter. Those would be random and pointless storylines.
