What’s going to be the big letdown for Steffy and Thomas

All this Forrester huffing and puffing can’t go on. Something is going to happen. I suspect a few possibilities. Taylor’s halo will crack in an unsuspecting way. Steffy over focus on her parents reunion leaves Hayes vulnerable. Thomas and the family will learn that Hope is not just a nurse maid to Douglas and that he really really loves his family with Hope, Liam and Beth. They can’t be so dismissive of them. What’s your guess?

Maybe we find out that someone isn't even a faux Forrester. Wouldn't it be hilarious if we found out that Ridge isn't Thomas's or Phoebe and Steffy's bio father?

I would love it if Ridge isn't the father of Steffy and the late Phoebe!

I think you're right that they keep hammering us over the head with the "Forrester" stuff for a reason. Something's got to happen to blow it up.

Odd you bring this up. Last night when I could not sleep, I watched the very first episode of BB. And, it was shown that Ridge and Thorne were real rivals from the get-go. Fast forward to when Taylor went with Thorne to Hawaii. She had already slept with Ridge at the motel when he was out on bail for shooting Grant. I cannot remember what happened that she and Thorne were sort of dating and he took her to Hawaii, They get a little drunk on their last night, and then it shows the next day and her packing to go home. She makes a remark about the night before, like she cannot remember what happened, and he tells her nothing. Then she finds out she is pregnant, has no reason to think he is anyone else's child and all ends up the way she hoped. Well, they did throw that little doubt in there, just in case they wanted to pull a switch. Same with Brooke and Ridge on the plane home from Paris, exactly 9 months before Hope was born.

If they were to make Tom Thorne's son, this would bring the whole thing full circle on when Ridge found out that Eric was not his bio-dad. And, it would change everything, like it did when Ridge found out he was not Eric's son.

That's very interesting. Soaps definitely do like to leave little openings for future stories.
