Taylor is right, Thomas was not in a good place mentally but that was NOT for Hope or Brooke to say or pass judgement. A court or the lawyer himself who drew up the papers should have decided that. Of course now the writers can step in and say it was illegal and out and out war.. And Thomas thinks he is vindicated that Hope had him for X amount of times in years, so now is his turn. He has taken him and has no desire or intention of returning Douglas.

His conversation today when Liam was in the Forrester house and confronted him unawares proves when he keeps saying a couple of days, when we know it has been much much longer than that. They purposely do not say just how long it is, but it has been a long time, enough to have two of thoss Forrester get together's without Liam or Brooke invited. And we know those were not back to back nights, probably a week in between.

And any time Hope or today Liam ask about Douglas, he is not there. He is not with the father who he wants to be with or the father that wants to be with him, just going off and doing his own thing with someone else. Yet Thomas still feels he is entitled to just pick him up and automatically he will live with him and the rest of the Forrester's in that house, no questions asked or required..

Can't be Team Thomas on this one this way. .Go to court and get it settled.
And both Brooke and Taylor butt out.

The purpose behind Hope going after custody was because she and Brooke decided Thomas was unstable. So, yes, they did pass judgement. They were judge and jury. Nothing was ever said that I can remember about Hope telling the lawyer why she was going after custody. If he didn't know why would he request an evaluation.

It was not on Hope to get the evaluation or request it, it was on Tom's family, but they did not care about him, so the deed was done. Let's put the blame where it squarely belongs, on Taylor and Ridge. One could not even be bothered to check on her son, or do right by him. She knew he was not right in the head, and has not been since he tried to kill Rick, twice. She just does not care that much about Tom, that is obvious to anyone that has been watching. And Ridge, he covered for Tom knowing full well he was mental. Ridge wanted to pretend his son was OK, when he was not. Brooke tried to tell Ridge and he left her over it. So, lets put this blame where it belongs, on the parents of the mentally deranged Thomas. They never got him help when he was all but begging for it. When he tried to kill Rick twice, that was a cry for help. Taylor did nothing but let Pam go to jail for it, and whisk Tom out of the country to her lovers clinic. Ridge right now knows two things about Thomas that would disqualify him from getting custody of Douglas. He chased Emma to her death and did not call 911 to try and save her. He is currently hiding that he abetted Sheila in a crime.
