Right Conversation, Wrong Mindset

Thope had the conversation they been needing to have today but Thomas walked in with absolutely the wrong mindset. He was convinced by his sister that he was 100% right and Hope was 100% wrong, that turning down his proposal was rejecting him, that she didn't love him enough to marry him ever. He came in already intending to break up instead of have a dialogue with Hope. If he'd had someone who really cared about him in his ear instead of Steffy, they would've told him that Hope loved him, to have this conversation with Hope and hear her out. If you've already got your mind made up that things are a certain way you're not listening to the person trying to talk to you.

He should have listened to someone who isn't coming from a place of hatred. Like Brooke.

But what good would that be? Brooke would simply say Hope loves you but she can't be your wife....Thomas already know this, but it's NOT what he wants and he doesn't want to wait anymore. Thope are simply NOT on the same page.
