By the time Taylor came back from the dead the second time Brooke and Ridge were married, raising the two demons, Phoebe and Hope and they had RJ! Thomas and the girls were all old enough to understand the situation. It wasn’t Brooke’s fault that everyone believed Taylor to be dead and it certainly wasn’t her fault that their father moved on with her. Yes it was a terrible situation but none of it was on Brooke. I am so tired of it always being Brooke’s fault when RIDGE makes a choice. Maybe their anger should be directed at their father… Nobody holds a weapon on him and forces him to do anything he does what he wants. Case in point the situation they are all in right now… Yes Thomas perpetrated it and Ridge believed it that doesn’t put it on Taylor. She’s just dumb enough to believe Ridge actually chose her because he truly wants her and loves her… That part of it is on her but it’s her own cross to bear. It certainly isn’t Taylor‘s fault though that ridge jumped the gun, annulled his marriage to Brooke and went running off to her. That is on RIDGE!
I am beyond tired of seeing team Brooke or team Taylor… Brooke isn’t wrong when Ridge chooses her and Taylor isn’t wrong when Ridge chooses her… RIDGE is the problem point blank. The women are both just collateral damage of his disgustingly big ego. And they are fools to continue to enable his disgusting behavior. Yes Taylor has been throwing herself at him left and right since she’s been back and I question whether or not this woman should have a license to practice medicine as goofy as she is but inevitably no matter what she’s done Ridge is the one who made the final decision. Just like Ridge was the one to make the decision all the times in the past when he put Brooke first yet he comes out smelling like a rose and one or the other of the women is deemed the bad guy.
