Steffy and Thomas have been pretty determined so see their parents reunited and pretty biting towards Brooke. I don't think there's an appreciation for their perspective. They were young teenagers when their parents got back together after Taylor's second resurrection and then all of a sudden it was all blown up again. Ridge left their family to go chasing after Brooke. That leaves an impression on a child even if they're in their early teens. It's no wonder they despise Brooke or that want their family reunited.

Taylor should tell them the truth of why she and Ridge broke up instead of blaming Brooke. She should tell them about her affair with not only Hector, but the one night stand with James and how she kept it secret for a decade. They should be told that Brooke had nothing to do with Taylor's divorce from Ridge.
