Steffy and Thomas have been pretty determined so see their parents reunited and pretty biting towards Brooke. I don't think there's an appreciation for their perspective. They were young teenagers when their parents got back together after Taylor's second resurrection and then all of a sudden it was all blown up again. Ridge left their family to go chasing after Brooke. That leaves an impression on a child even if they're in their early teens. It's no wonder they despise Brooke or that want their family reunited.

It’s not only 2006 but Brooke actively busted their parents wedding with her horse and broke them up using RJ (threatening to leave the continent with the 5 years old) in 2009.
Then in 2011, if it wasn’t for Brooke existence, tridge would have reunited again
