Liam and Steffy aren't best friends?

Steffy asked Finn if Liam had any idea about Thomas and Hope's changing attitudes. I thought Liam and Steffy were BFFs who talked about everything and supported each other through everything? How can she not know how he feels about it?

I guess all that changed.

I think Steffy has lost her halo with Liam, by now. He has been making a lot of negative comments about her, lately. He and Brooke include her when they talk about Thomas and Taylor ganging up on them.

Where did he insult Steffy?

I don't think he has specifically "insulted" and singled out Steffy. But it's clear he and Brooke think Taylor, Thomas and Steffy have been targetting Brooke's marriage and pulling the strings with Douglas. Liam doesn't approve Steffy interfering in Brooke and Ridge's marriage and brainwashing Thomas about Douglas and the Logans.

You said he’s been making a lot of negative comments about Steffy lately, but he hasn’t. Not one. Brooke has complained about Steffys influence on Ridge. Liam has been a listening ear for Brooke but his negativity has been about Thomas. Liam and Steffy will always love each other. Not as lovers but as the dearest of friends who share a child. That will never change.

No, his negativity hasn't been just about Thomas. When he and Brooke have conversations, he included Steffy and Taylor too..he has mentioned ALL three of them (Taylor and both her brats) that they targeted Brooke's marriage etc. Liam has been on Brooke side about Bridge..he's definitely not on Steffy's side of pushing Tridge.

I agree with this. Liam has made it clear that he thinks the Tridge mafia schemed to break up Brooke's marriage. And that includes Steffy. When I watched it I was very happy about how he was on Brooke and Hope's side on this issue.

Exactly. I was also happy to see that he included Steffy as part of the nasty trio that did damage to Brooke’s marriage.

I guess with all of this, I can see why Liam and Steffy might not be BFFs anymore. I mean, his wife's family loaned him out to play "my sweet husband" and Steffy repayed them by declaring war and scheming to get Ridge away from Brooke. That plus being aced out of family dinners when he is Douglas' cousin and Kelly's father, could be enough to strain a BFFship.

Agree. I think Liam is seeing now how manipulative Steffy is. Who would know better than him? I like how he is taking Brooke's side against the Tridge mafia in their dumb war against the Logans.

It's gotta be hard for Liam on all fronts. You know I will tell Liam about himself when I don't like what he's doing, but I think he has been used by the Tridge Mafia, and I think he does see that now. I would like him to see how he's not only being frozen out as Douglas' stepdad, but as his own daughter's father. Maybe he does. Maybe that's why he doesn't confide in, talk to, or get drunk with Steffy anymore.

He sure was used. Remember when Taylor demanded that the sweet husband charade go on? He sacrificed HIS family time to help Steffy and did any of them stand up for him when Thomas was icing him out of their little Forrester dinners? Nope. They were too busy icing Brooke out to even notice.

Yeah, and that's what I mean. It sent all of Steffy's promises to co-parent in harmony straight out the window, and Liam can't trust her anymore.

He never should have trusted her. That's the one thing I always hated about Liam. That he could be nice to the witch that deliberately hurt Hope so much.

Yes and keeps doing it.
