Liam and Steffy aren't best friends?

Steffy asked Finn if Liam had any idea about Thomas and Hope's changing attitudes. I thought Liam and Steffy were BFFs who talked about everything and supported each other through everything? How can she not know how he feels about it?

I think Steffy has lost her halo with Liam, by now. He has been making a lot of negative comments about her, lately. He and Brooke include her when they talk about Thomas and Taylor ganging up on them.

That's true. I've been waiting for him to have some kind of conversation with Steffy about this from the moment the SL started Especially since they were so close during that whole "My sweet husband" SL, which I have yet to understand why transpired. It's really strange that these two are not having one word to say to each other about their family plights. Have they even had a scene together? Notably absent of course is him going to see Kelly.

The writers missed a chance to add layers to this story by having Steffy and Liam at least discuss it. When have we ever seen Liam and steffy on opposing sides of something? Could have been interesting. And it might have given Finn something to do.

Instead, the writers seemed to have conveniently forgotten this "Bff" ship.

Probably so that they can dust off Leffy and bring it out once again when needed If they show them at odds now they won't be able to use this farce of a couple again in the future. Although with all the rewrites currently happening that should not really be an issue.

You could be right. I think being on opposite sides can bring the passion though.

I just really feel like something is missing to have them in this SL and we don't even know how or if it's affecting Steffy and Liam's relationship or Liam's with Kelly, either. For me, it's really weird to see how much support Liam gave Steffy over the summer, but she's absent for him now.
