How are they best friends?

Liam bashes Steffy with Brooke all the time, when they talk about Bridge's marital issues. He's a terrible friend if that is the case. Liam confides in Brooke now, and Steffy does not need Liam at all to speak on her problems, because she has Finn.

She only recently leaned on Liam when Finn "died" but the whole time, all she needed, wanted and was thinking of, was Finn. She barely talked about Liam in months, didn't even invite him to any of the Forrester family gatherings. There is no friendship there, and that's a good thing. Boundaries need to be set.

They are best friends because they said it.
