If Hope´s true nature is "more like Brooke´s" what does Steffy mean by that?
Steffy slept with more men than Hope, one of them her FIL, and had two paternity tests.
Steffy cheated on Liam with Bill, on Wyatt with Liam and on Finn with Liam.
She beats Hope certainly hands down when it comes to "being like Brooke".

I think it means that Hope uses sex as a measure of self worth, just like Brooke did back when she was younger. Hope is using sex to bolster her self esteem....."If I can get a man to fall on his knees and worship me, then I must really be something". That is how I took it because that is what we have been seeing Hope do for months. She needs to be told by Tom how he worships her, before she can have sex with him, each and every single time. Brooke also used sex when she was younger to validate her self worth. But, where Steffy is wrong about the 2 women is, Brooke wanted to be loved, Hope only wants to be worshipped.

Hope is messed up in the head and the way the November preview reads is, Hope knows that Tom is bad news, as they said she is dancing with the devil, and maybe he has changed, maybe not....the jury is still out. But, I doubt he has changed, since has been the bad guy from the main family for years. Can the show afford to lose him from that role? I doubt it. They need a bad guy that is ensconced in the main family, and it has been Tom for years and years....why change it now?

Hope doesn't want to be worshipped. She just wants someone to treat her better than Liam did. She doesn't want to share her man, which is something every woman deserves.

Is that why she cannot do it with Tom until he tells her how wonderful she is and that he only wants her? He always has to perform that dance before she will lay down with him. That poor idiot Tom wants to wine and dine her and take her out in public, but all she wants to do is have him do her in the office and tell her how wonderful she is and how he will never love another. I almost feel sorry for him. He wants to be seen with her, but she does not want to be seen with him. Liam treated Hope like she was a queen for years, especially the last year...and that still was not enough for her. She has some insatiable need to be worshipped like she is some Goddess and we are seeing that unfold every time she is having sex with Tom. She looks down on him land I say that because he is good enough to service her, but not good enough to go out in public with and declare that they are a couple. In fact, I think there is a reason they are always showing her on that pedestal while he fixes a gown for her....I think they are telling us she sees herself on a pedestal with some man...in this case Tom, having to look up at her and admire her. Hope is vain and that vanity was not stroked enough by Liam so she turned to a sure thing like Tom who will stroke that ego of hers for eternity, and she has to give very little back to him except her body.

Hope never asks Thomas to tell her she's wonderful. She asks him to tell her that she's the ONLY woman in his eyes. And yes, that's exactly why she needs Thomas to reassure her about it. It's been said in dialogue so many times now. Hope is broken from being with a man who loves another woman.

I have seen nothing on screen and heard nothing in dialogue that tells me Hope wants to be worshipped. I have seen and heard plenty, though, to tell me that she is with Thomas because he is the anti-Liam. Thomas doesn't have a second woman stashed in his back pocket. I have also seen Liam go out and prove that everything Hope said about him is true. He is literally trying to break up a marriage so that he can have the woman he stashes in his back pocket back. It is text book Liam to turn to Steffy when Hope hurts him. Too funny.

To be fair, she enjoys Thomas praising her nonstop..she may not ask him to tell her all these wonderful stuff about her, but she KNOWS how he feels about her and that he worships her because he spent many years obsessing over her. That's why the Nov. preview mentioned she's dancing with the devil..and it's dangerous like Brooke mentioned, but at the moment, Hope is still very reckless with no morals..she doesn't care about right from wrong anymore..she just wants to be free to do whatever the heck she wants. She needs help! JMO.

Meh. She's a little lost right now but she's still a good person. It's not like she's physically assaulting people or trying to break up any marriages.

Well, she's definitely NOT nasty Steffy's level that's for sure, but she indeed showed no remorse cheating in Rome so openly/publicly, so she has ditched the CORE of who she was. Let's not forget this was a diehard Hope fan here and I'm just calling it as I see it.

I don't see it that way. She messed up. She's human. She's still a good person.

Still, a victim banging her evil abuser is just way too much for this viewer. Her morals and principles are out the window now that she's hooked up with the devil, so she is still messed up at the moment. I will root for her again when she gets her mind straight..and walk away from this creepy, forced Thope nonsense. Nope to Thope!

I'm also anti Thope. Still love Hope, though.

I think the main difference between you and I is that I HATE monster Thomas much more than you. I'm just very disappointed that the show took this risk and went this far with this Thope nonsense.

I'm still biding my time, waiting for it to pass.

This entire writing for Thope is just so bizarre, then add in the eerie music..they are doomed! LOL.
Plus, their creepy lust situationship has been the same with no movement for many months now..seems to me, the show is just dragging it out until they decide to reunite Lope. JMO.

I think there will be movement once Liam is done being a weirdo in the other story.

I think whatever movement for Thope ain't gonna be good at all. Given the Nov. preview still called Thomas a "bad boy" and that Hope is dancing with the "devil" lol. BOTH Hope and Liam ain't in their right mind at the moment..but eventually DTR they will come around. IMO, the show is just taking a very long, winding road with detours to an eventual Lope reunion.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
