I think that was very obvious Steffy felt that way; especially the way, they have been writing for Sinn the past year, so, for me as a Sinn fan, it was nice to hear the confirmation right from Steffy's mouth.

Yes, a cute family...but that's all they are, a beautiful picture.
They don't interact aside from making out, they don't interact with others aside from Taylor when she apologises for disturbing their making out.
They have no story together.

They are blissfully reunited, after months of being kept apart. Also, with Sheila, on the loose, they still have to deal with that aspect which is story they are in together.
