Then why is she so unhappy? Ranting, whining, insulting people, trying to force her father to end his marriage?
Shouldn't she be still endlessly happy to have her soulmate back?

I don't buy that they're soulmates, either. Steffy seems like the very embodiment of unhappiness and frustration. She's never happy. She's always whining, manipulating, and abusing others. If she were living happily with her soulmate, you'd think she'd be happy and stop all the BS. She doesn't care if her father is happy or not. He's made it clear that he loves Brooke and wants to be married to Brooke, but Steffy doesn't care. She only wants the world to revolve around her desires. She thinks the world revolves around her and not the sun.
