Steffy told Taylor that Finn is her soulmate

Steffy told Taylor the following "I thought I lost my soulmate, my husband. My whole world was shattered"

I think that was very obvious Steffy felt that way; especially the way, they have been writing for Sinn the past year, so, for me as a Sinn fan, it was nice to hear the confirmation right from Steffy's mouth.

"Soulmate"? Lapdog is more like it.

While I agree Finn needs to speak up more often, I rather a lapdog, than an emotional abusive man which is a majority of these men on Bold, with the exception of Carter.

They need to give Finn more substance. Right now he's just window dressing. He's brought out for love scenes and to tell Steffy how wonderful she is. I don't think the writers are invested in Finn.

I think they are invested in the Sinn pairing, especially with the stories they have gotten, and the constant dialogue of their cosmic connection, being soulmate, and the love of each other's lives. We definitely need more of Finn as a standalone character, like we got when he was being kept hostage by Sheila. Those were great scenes and powerful work from TN.

Those scenes with Sheila did give Finn some story, I agree. What they need to do, though, is to make the character himself more complex. The worst thing the writers can do for a soap character is to make them uncontroversial. They have to have flaws and they have to make mistakes. Right now Finn is like a trophy sitting on Steffy's shelf. She takes him out and blows the dust off him every once in a while and then puts him back on the shelf. Basically he is an accessory that she brings to family gatherings.

IMO, Sinn need to have struggles and angst as a couple. Conflict that happens IN their relationship, caused by them. By one or both of THEM making bad choices. I don't mean no other characters should be involved in stories for them. Maybe someone manipulates them and Finn, for instance, makes a bad choice because of it. Something like that.
