Promo- Let Down

Funny how there’s no problem with Brooke blaming Taylor for something she did all her life … Brooke is the worst hypocrite in this story.

Brooke hasn't done this in more than 20 years! How long is the probation in your opinion before you're allowed to be mad at someone else for doing the same to you?
And Taylor doing the same thing that she hated being done to her, that she villified Brooke for, actually makes her a worse hypocrite.

I have a huge problem with a heartless 2 faced snake like Brooke who is a HUGE hypocrite demanding respect for the marriage institution she walked on all her life.
And I can NEVER root for someone who stabbs family members in the back while saying she love her in her face.
I can relate to Taylor - even Stephanie ~ when they were going too far to defend a family member. I could kill for my children. Wrong but understandable for me
I can’t relate in any form to a woman choosing a man even sex (bc she sure didn’t love Deacon) over her own child. That shows her weak and heartless. I despise both trait of character.

How can being weak and heartless ever be worse than trying to take someone else's life in a situation that had nothing to do with self-defense, only with revenge and self-justice?
I absolutely can't relate to killing someone, no matter what that person may have done to anyone in my family. Of course I can't relate to sleeping with my daughter's husband either, but it's not like Brooke took advantage of these men in any way, they were more than willing participants. They were even the ones pursuing her. She did nothing to encourage them or even seduce them away from her daughter or sister. Sure she still should have kept rejecting them. And she couldn't have complained if Bridget or Katie would never have spoken a word to her again. But even hurting your child or your sister in such a terrible way isn't anywhere as cruel as playing God by trying to take someone else's life and making 3 innocent sons lose their father. How is it ok to think your child counts so much more than those children? And destroying those children's lives won't even make anything that has happened to your own child undone.

Actually, you're hurting your own child terribly too by trying to kill that child's alleged rapist, because how can you help your child overcome that experience when you're in jail? So doesn't that make Taylor a terrible mother as well? Wasn't shooting Bill just as weak and heartless as you call Brooke's actions? Just like in Brooke's case, Taylor's self-control simply wasn't strong enough to do the right thing and call the cops (or even better, talk to her daughter first). Just like Brooke, she did what made herself feel better, not what was actually the best for her child. And what Brooke did was just morally wrong, while what Taylor did was morally AND legally wrong. I could never show more understanding for something that is both morally and legally wrong than something that's just morally wrong, even if that character was my fave.
