Much of what you said is true. Two caveats. One we don't know what Taylor says before Ridge simply says she's my wife. Two, I don't think Steffy's scheming so much as proving a point. I think she makes Ridge think Brooke went to the Spencer retreat with Bill and she and Taylor follow him when he goes up there after her. Steffy admits to what she did but points out that the problem is that he believed Brooke would go to Aspen with Bill. That's a hell of way to make a man realize that deep down he doesn't trust his wife.

Why in the world would Ridge go running after his wife to Aspen? And, why in the world would Steffy and Taylor go running after Ridge who is running after his wife?
