Promo- Let Down

Bridge are so finished. Brooke is an idiot. Sorry but she is. What would possess her to let Bill in the door? Her kiss with him nearly blew up her marriage not that long ago. Now her marriage is in an even more fragile state and she allows him to comfort her? I know there's some hypocrisy mixed in here given what's happening with Tridge but a thinking person would not do anything that could potentially end their marriage. If Brooke and Bill were in a public place, I might have more sympathy but she let in him the house. Whatever happens now she brought upon herself.

So when Brooke is respecting Ridge's wishes by banning Deacon from her property, she gets bashed for doing anything to keep Ridge, but when she dares to let another ex into her house she's called an idiot for not doing everything to keep him? Looks like she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

I also don't remember Ridge ever saying that Bill can't be in Brooke's house. And according to spoilers, Bill is there to talk to her about Katie before the conversation somehow turns to their own history. Why would she send him away when he wants to talk about her sister? He is much more of a family member than Deacon has ever been. So Ridge freaking out and jumping to conclusions because of a simple hug would be a giant overreaction.

I have never blamed Ridge for wanting Deacon banned from the property, because when Bridge got married, Deacon seemed to be out of their lives for good. But Bill has been a part of Brooke's life for the past decade, not just as a husband but also as a brother-in-law and as her granddaughter's other grandfather, and when Bridge got married, Ridge knew he would have to accept a friendly relationship between Bill and Brooke. That's why I don't think he has any right to be mad at her now, especially when he keeps hugging his own ex-wife on an almost daily basis.

I would actually agree that Brooke is being stupid for letting Bill into the house and hugging him if he had recently declared that he's still in love with her and wants her back like Deacon did. But letting him in to talk about Katie and eventually accepting a hug from him is nothing Brooke should have to be afraid of when Ridge himself thinks that hugging his own ex-wife is the most natural thing in the world. So saying that Brooke has brought it upon herself if Ridge leaves her now is ridiculous.
