I agree. The story is so sexist. I’m an old fashion senior citizen with a husband. This sexist writing grates on my last nerve.

I just watched the youtube video from 2005 when they had their wife try-outs, I posted it in another thread but then deleted it because I am not sure if I am allowed to post video. Anyway, it was Season 18, episode 4579, it is on youtube. Some of the dialog is the exact same as now. If you watch it, the snarky twin in blue is Steffy. I had forgotten that Taylor was making a lot of snide comments about Brooke back then, even making a joke about her driving off a bridge into the ocean and disappearing. And Ridge, the pig, is smirking and not telling her to knock it off, because it is uncalled for and Brooke is not there to defend herself against Taylor's snarky nonsense. It is exactly the same as now. This sexist BS SL. And after all the advances women have made in the last 10 years, with calling men to task for their sexism and sexual harassment, etc. It is worse to have this same SL going on right now. These 2 women have been doing "tryouts" for this sexist idiot for 30 years. Disgusting. I don't remember Brooke telling Ridge that she was going to do "tryouts" for him and Nick. Nope. Ridge just raped her instead.

I agree. Sad as it is, this show always was, and is still now, misogynistic...in times of #metoo, there are still paint fights, tryouts and a different set of rules for women and men...
